Examinations
At Wizz Theatre Academy students have the option to sit a Trinity College International examination. Examinations can be a great way for students to have something to work towards and focus their skills further. We offer a wide range of different subjects including; Musical Theatre, Speech and Drama, Individual Acting Skills and Performance Arts. Students will normally sit individual exams, with group and pair options being available too.
So how does it all work?
Students sit grades according to their age and skill level. A student will practice and develop their pieces in the first half of the year, refining them in term three. They will sit a mock examination before the real day, to help put them at ease. Usually, students will sit their examination in September, with the option for some to sit in November. A Trinity examiner from overseas comes to Wellington to examine the students. They will receive a written report, final mark and beautiful certificate in honour of their hard work and achievement.
